Aloha! I’m Chi, and I’m lucky to call the magical island of Oʻahu home.
Welcome to Heliconia Hale—our lovingly named home nestled in Honolulu. “Hale” means home in Hawaiian, and it truly is a special place for my husband Chris and me. Our front yard is graced with vibrant Heliconia Rostratas and Caribaeas, which inspired the name.

This little corner of the internet is my creative outlet—a space where I share my journey into photography and videography, capturing the quiet beauty of everyday life.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll often find me in the garden, happily working to transform Heliconia Hale into a flourishing food forest. My growing hibiscus collection and blooming flowers are frequent stars in my photos. I find endless inspiration in the ocean’s vastness and the gentle strength of the Koʻolau mountains.

My sweet Cavapoo, Coraline, is my constant companion on walks and garden adventures. Naturally, I have a healthy obsession for plant nurseries and can never resist a stroll through the aisles of Lowe’s. Whether I’m tending to the yard or chasing the perfect light, I find joy in life’s simple, beautiful moments.
